Sitka

Taking pleasure in the simple, constant, blessed things these days. I know it doesn’t take living in a camper van to focus and simplify, but it has been incredibly clarifying for me so far. Of course it’s had it’s challenges, but overall, it’s been refreshing. I’m “counting my blessings…” and relishing the simple pleasures of life.

I’m working on practicing gratitude – to focus on the good, great, and down-right WONDERFUL things in my life.

Today, here’s what stands out as what makes me life enriching…

Sitka – my van pup. Having her in my van/home outside my workplace proved to be a delight today! She has always been such a bright-spot at the end of a stressful day; now she’s there, wagging her wiry tail, ready to play whenever I need a pick-me-up! She’s a friend who never says no to getting outside, playing, and embracing life. I can learn so much from her.

Flash back to a couple years ago when Sitka was “playing” (more like shivering) in the snow. Look at that “help me” face!

BRRRRR!!!
BRRRRR!!!
